The personal computer- In 1975, the first personal computer, the Altair 8800, was released. This event started the home computer revolution, and PC’s are now a staple in most homes.

The mobile phone– The first mobile phone was released in 1973 by Motorola. This changed the way we communicate and has made staying connected much easier.

The internet- In 1983, the internet was created, giving birth to the modern-day worldwide web. The internet has changed the way we live, work and play.

The digital camera- In 1981, Sony released the first digital camera, which changed photography forever. With the ability to take and store thousands of photos, we now have a visual record of our lives like never before.

The iPod- In 2001, Apple released the first iPod, which revolutionized portable music playback. Now we can carry our entire music collection with us wherever we go.

GPS- Global Positioning System technology was first used by the military but is now available for civilian use. This technology has transformed navigation and has made it much easier to get around both familiar and unfamiliar territory.

The iPhone: In 2007, Apple released the first iPhone and completely changed the way we interact with technology. The iPhone introduced us to a whole new world of apps and mobile internet usage.

The iPad: In 2010, Apple released the iPad, which further revolutionized mobile computing. The iPad offered a larger screen than the iPhone for browsing the web, watching videos, and playing games.

The Kindle: In 2007, Amazon released the Kindle, which changed the way we read books. The Kindle allowed people to have access to thousands of books at their fingertips without having to carry around physical copies.

GoPro: In 2004, Nick Woodman founded GoPro, which sells small, ultra-wide angle cameras that are perfect for action sports enthusiasts. GoPro has enabled people to capture amazing video footage of their extreme sports adventures.
