This roast chicken is a succulent, semi-dry mixture of marinated, tender chicken that has been fried and sautéed with a hot, sour masala sauce teamed up with some fried onions, lemon juice, and chilies to give this dish an extra kick.

Steps for Chicken Roast recipe:

  1. Chicken should be cleaned and sliced into medium-sized pieces. Combine all the ingredients in a paste.
  2. Put this paste over the chicken pieces and marinate them for an hour.
  3. Slice the onions very thinly and cook them in heated oil. Drain them, then set them apart.
  4. In the same oil, fry the chicken pieces until almost finished. Keep the lid on the pan to ensure that the chicken cooks through without getting browned. Drain them, then set them apart.
  5. Use the same oil we used to fry the chicken pieces to heat 2 tbsp in a different pan. This will improve flavour. Curry leaves and sliced green chillies are added after 1 minute of sautéing.
  6. To this, add the tomato paste, and cook for one minute. The chicken is now added, and it is roasting until it is dry.
  7. Ensure that the tomato paste is well covered on all of the chicken pieces.
  8. Add pepper powder and garam masala, then combine well.
  9. Mix thoroughly after adding lemon juice. For salt, check. If necessary, add a bit. Now incorporate the fried onions well.
  10. Your delicious chicken roast is ready.
