Cities Skylines 2, a game by Colossal Order and Paradox Interactive, was innovative. By giving players what they wanted—a sizable, comprehensive city simulator without constant internet needs or other gimmicks—it essentially killed off EA’s long-running SimCity franchise.
Cities Skylines is still a fantastic city-building game, but it is becoming a little dated. Colossal Order has now announced that Cities Skylines 2, the game’s sequel, will be released on October 24 for PC and current-gen consoles. Additionally, the game’s PC system requirements are now visible on Steam, providing PC players with information on the type of hardware needed to run the game.
As anticipated, Cities Skylines 2 will require more powerful gear to function at launch, with the required graphics cards being the Nvidia GTX 780 and AMD Radeon RX 470. The game will run on low-end gaming PCs, which is fantastic news, but based on the suggested system requirements, it appears that it will include graphical choices and settings that will allow the game to look amazing on higher-end systems.

Can my PC run Cities Skylines 2?
You’ll need an Nvidia GTX 780 or AMD Radeon RX 470 GPU in addition to an Intel Core i7 4790 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X processor to satisfy the minimum requirements for Cities: Skylines 2. Also remember to add 8GB of RAM. We don’t yet know if you’ll require a solid-state drive or if an earlier setup with an HDD would suffice.
Can I run cities skylines on 4GB RAM?
A minimum RAM requirement of 4 GB is included among the Cities Skylines system requirements. But the designers advise a minimum of 6 GB of RAM. Cities Skylines requires a minimum CPU similar to an Intel Core 2 Duo T7600, although an Intel Core i5-3470 or above is recommended.
