Why Khloé of The Kardashians Remains Close to Tristan Despite His Affairs
In the premiere episode of The Kardashians‘ second season, Tristan Thompson, the father of Khloé Kardashian’s new baby boy, had another affair. Fans weren’t overly shocked to learn that he was expecting a child with someone else shortly after Khloé consented to an embryo transfer with her surrogate following the numerous cheating allegations against her and other hidden women. The issue served as the main focus of the Hulu original’s first season premiere, leaving many fans wondering why Khloé continues to see Tristan.
After viewers saw Khloé and Tristan mend their relationship for a season in the new show’s premiere, it appeared like Tristan would maintain his composure after he worked so hard to win Khloé back. However, he once again let down his admirers and the famous family, which most certainly ended his chances of ever becoming Khloé’s partner. Khloé’s family has been impacted by her relationship trauma, but it shouldn’t interfere with her home life since she has the means to prevent it from happening in the first place.
Fans witness Tristan in the hospital room for the first time in season 2, episode 1, “I Have Something To Tell You,” excited to embrace his newborn in front of a visibly uneasy Khloé. As soon as she presents their infant to him, the scene immediately cuts to her leaving the hospital. Khloé has been adamant about being friends with Tristan despite the initial hostility so that they may co-parent easily, even if she is still the baby’s primary caretaker. Many fans questioned why Khloé would have his baby in the first place, given their pre-pregnancy relationship status, but with her fame and resources, it doesn’t matter who the father of her child is.
Khloé has plenty of relatives to support her new baby, as shown in the season premiere with Kylie and Khloé’s endearing conversation over sharing baby clothes. Khloé probably has hired someone to look after the kids when she needs a break, like many LA mothers. And despite his affairs, Tristan has demonstrated his commitment to be there for True and expressed delight in the couple’s unborn child. She will be able to have biologically linked children and a caring father if she has another child with Tristan. Tristan is a sperm donor since she doesn’t need his money or resources and instead chooses to use a surrogate to deliver the child.
There is just one way up for Khloé and her family.
Tristan’s antics do not deter Khloé; after cuddly photos of the two in Milan went viral online, she is already believed to be seeing an Italian actor named Michele Morrone. Despite her earlier declaration in the season 2 premiere that she had wished for the “white picket fence” cliche, Khloe is now free to do as she pleases. Khloé will probably take her time forgiving Tristan and establishing healthy boundaries after the hurt he caused her. Tristan isn’t slowing down his dating life in the interim, and fans can’t wait to see if he makes an appearance in season 2 of The Kardashians.
