The vivo X80 series is now available worldwide, and we have the flagship X80 Pro in the office to put through its paces. Because the X80 Pro+ isn’t expected until Q3, the vivo X80 Pro serves as the company’s actual flagship for the time being.
The X80 Pro is no exception to vivo’s premium series phones’ well-stocked retail bundles. A case, USB cord, USB-C earphones, and an 80W charger are included.
There is a strong resemblance when compared to the X70 Pro+. Both have the same black tactile glass finish, and both have large glass islands for the cameras on the backs.
In actuality, the imagers are nearly identical to those found on the X70 Pro+: a 50MP 1/1.31″ primary camera with an f/1.6 lens, an 8MP 5x periscope, a 12MP 2x telephoto with gimbal OS, and a 48MP ultrawide with a huge 1/2.0″ sensor with autofocus.
The selfie camera is a 32MP f/2.5 fixed-focus device, which is the same as last year.
The display appears to be identical to that of the vivo X70 Pro+. It’s a 6.78-inch LTPO3 AMOLED with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and 1440x3200px resolution. The vivo X80 Pro, on the other hand, features a brighter panel that can reach 1500 nits.
With minimum bezels and purposely curved side edges, it’s a gorgeous display. If you’re not sure which side of the debate you’re on, try the X80 Pro.
