The first promo for season 2 of Shark Tank India has been released. One of the season one sharks, Ashneer Grover, will not be returning this time around.
The channel unveiled the season 2 promo of the well-known reality series Shark Tank India on Thursday evening. The programme airs on Sony Entertainment Television, and when it debuted last year, it was a sleeper smash that dominated the airwaves. Most of the original sharks are back for the entrepreneurship-focused programme, with the noteworthy exceptions being Ashneer Grover and Ghazal Alagh.Read on to know more about Shark Tank India Season 2.

The promotional video posted by Sony on social media features a woman purchasing groceries from a cart while making fun of the vegetable vendor by claiming that his entire cart is only worth around Rupees 70. To the woman’s consternation, the salesperson then goes into great detail about his business strategy with income in collection and claims that the value of his company is actually 70 lakh rupees. The promo goes on to state that this modification was made possible by Shark Tank India, which is currently back for season 2. Entrepreneurs, known as pitchers, pitch their business idea to powerful sharks on the show in the hopes of receiving funding from one or more of them.
Sharks Of Shark Tank India Season 2
The interaction between the sharks and the pitchers as well as the unusual businesses featured on the show add to its attractiveness. Five sharks from the first season, including Anupam Mittal, founder and CEO of Shaadi.com, Aman Gupta, co-founder and chief marketing officer of boAt, Namita Thapar, executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Vineeta Singh, co-founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics, and Peyush Bansal, founder and CEO of Lenskart.com, will return, according to a Sony release. Amit Jain(CEO and Co-founder – CarDekho Group, InsuranceDekho.com), a new shark, will be joining them.
The absence of Ashneer Grover, a fan favourite, from the show this season may disappoint some viewers. Due to his blunt replies that frequently erred on the side of rudeness, the businessman had developed a considerable internet fan base previous season. Along with him, Ghazal Alagh will not be appearing this season as a shark. The hosting responsibilities have also changed. Rannvijay Singha is replaced this season by stand-up comedian Rahul Dua.
