Shark Tank India 2 Episode 24: Sharks Reject Jewelry Brand Because Of An Inaccurate Entrepreneurship
On February 2, the 24th episode of Shark Tank India Season 2 was broadcast. The founder of a jewellery brand failed to impress the Sharks in the episode.
Two of the pitches in the Shark Tank India Season 2 episode from February 2 successfully received funding from the Shark. The third one, however, received no investment. Even Anupam said the branding was inaccurate. Shark Tank 2, which debuted on January 2, features entrepreneurs pitching their brands to a few powerful investors known as Sharks. Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh, Namita Thapar, Peyush Bansal, and Anupam Mittal are members of the Sharks. In the episode, there were three pitches.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE FEBRUARY 2 EPISODE OF SHARK TANK 2:
1. Divyarajsinh Bihola, Prajal Geeta Menon, and Anitha Panikar presented their brand in the first pitch. They are the company owners that manufacture India’s smallest and least expensive electric tractor. The relief of small-scale farmers’ burdens is their USP. They requested Rs. 75 lahks for 7.5% equity. While Anupam Mittal offered them Rs. 1 crore for 10% equity from all five sharks, Aman Gupta made the same offer. The proposal from Amit was Rs 1.5 crore for 20% equity.
2. Yaseer Ali and Nayyer Hussain made their gelato brand’s pitch in the second round. They reduce the price of Italian ice cream for everyone. One scoop of their product costs only Rs 60. They requested Rs. 75 lakh for 4%. Anupam informed the founders of all the issues he found with their company, while Vineeta and Amit chose to stay away. He was also cut out of the deal. The founders tried to sway Anupam’s decision by requesting his investment if they met their March target. Anupam offered Rs. 75 lakh for 7.5% equity in that situation.

3. Supriya Donthi’s floral keepsake jewelry company was the subject of the third pitch. She admitted to using dried flowers, leaves, and seeds to make jewelry. She requested Rs 50 lakh for 2.5% equity. Although everyone praised the product, they weren’t overly pleased with the company’s business practices. The product was too expensive for the metal, in Namita’s opinion. She had fewer repeat customers. Due to scalability issues, Aman withdrew first, followed by Namita and Amit. Even though he liked the founder’s products, Anupam told her her business plan was questionable.
