On Twitter The verification tick no longer available
Apps for iOS have temporarily suspended the latest upgrade of the blue tick, which costs $8 per month. Several Twitter users complained on Friday when a number of phoney accounts swamped the social media platform.
The blue tick that indicates an account has been verified by Twitter costs $8 thanks to a method that Twit-ter introduced. The app introduced the method to iPhone stores earlier this week, but as of this Friday, the option appears to be vanished. The blue check mark subscription option has been removed.
The app unlaunched the blue tick subscription at $7.99, according to app researcher Jane Manchum Wong.
The in-app purchase for Twitter Blue Verified is no longer listed for production, according to a check of Twitter’s API, she said.
Ryan Morrison, a lawyer who specialises in video games, tweeted his outrage by adding, “LOL and now Twitter Blue is gone. Nothing quite like launching your brand-new, illogical ideas to the entire user base of the biggest social media network without conducting any A/B testing, market research, or any testing at all.
The only thing that appeared on the screens of those who could view the subscription link was an error notice.
Thanks for your interest, it said in the notification. In the future, Twitter Blue will be accessible in your nation. Please return at a later time.

The genuine Eli Lilly later tweeted from its original account, “We regret to anybody who have been issued a deceptive message from a fraudulent Lilly account.” Up to two hours passed after the previous tweet was posted before it was deleted from social media.
The company’s stock price dropped sharply following the tweet. This affected a lot of other businesses as well. On Twitter, there were also spoofs of the AbbVie corporation. Major stock indices at the time were upbeat despite a market uprising.
Major active users and brands that have ceased advertising and spending on Twit-ter are challenging the site as Twitter undergoes many changes as a result of the appointment of a new CEO. There will soon be several adjustments.
