Malaika Arora says she had to be persuaded to attend Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding reception. This is why

Last month, Malaika Arora was involved in a car accident while traveling from Pune to Mumbai. The dancer and fitness fanatic still has a scar on her forehead, which she claims serves as a constant reminder of what happened that night. She was first seen after the accident during Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding celebration. She has now admitted that she needed “some cajoling” to get out of the house and into a car.

With lover Arjun Kapoor, Malaika attended Ranbir and Alia’s wedding reception. She was dressed in a tiny pink outfit, whereas Arjun was dressed in black.

“I feel totally fit physically, but my state of mind is still delicate,” Malaika said of the accident’s aftereffects to the Bombay Times. Fear, concern, and anxiety are all present. Cajoling is required to get me out of any situation. In fact, I had to be persuaded to attend Ranbir and Alia’s wedding reception. More than being in the car, seeing so many people in the vicinity of the vehicle threw me off. Even if I’m in the back seat, I now fasten my seatbelt the moment I get into a car.”

Malaika also described what was going through her mind immediately following the event. “I was praying for two things,” she explained. I didn’t want to die that night, and I certainly didn’t want to lose my vision. I’m told I was continually pleading for my mother and my kid Arhaan after the accident. I was muttering something about returning to set.”

She said she didn’t know the degree of the injuries at first, was in shock, and couldn’t see clearly since glass shards had gotten into her eyes.

Malaika has resumed her regular routine. She recently walked the runway in a crimson lehenga during a fashion week, and she continues to post peeks of her glitzy ensembles on Instagram.
