Officially, Chris Lane and Lauren Bushnell Lane are parents to two children!
The country music star, 37, and the Bachelor alum, 32, announced Tuesday that their second son had been born.
On Sunday, October 16, a boy was born in Nashville, Tennessee. After Lauren Bushnell Lane’s breech baby failed to turn during the last several weeks of her pregnancy, she had to have a C-section.

“Just 8 pounds sweeter in life! Now a family of four!” Lane gave a family photo a caption.
The new arrival joins older brother Dutton Walker, 16 months, who was shown in a family video on Tuesday greeting his new sibling for the first time.
“That’s your brother!” Lane said to Dutton, who wore a “big bro” tee, as they walked into the room. “You were missed by mama,” As her father David recorded, Bushnell Lane spoke to her older son.
Lane and Bushnell Lane started dating in 2018, and after a four-month engagement, they got married in October 2019.
Following a baseball-themed announcement, the couple made their second pregnancy exclusively known to PEOPLE in June and revealed the baby’s sex on Instagram last month.
Bushnell Lane uploaded adorable family photos where she posed with their son Dutton and covered her growing belly in a baby blue ruffled blouse. She captioned the photo, “We can’t wait to meet you, baby BOY.”
According to Bushnell Lane, her second pregnancy surprised the pair.
The Bachelor alumna admitted to PEOPLE in June that she interrupted Lane as he put Dutton down for a nap in her haste to show him the positive pregnancy test earlier this year. “To be quite honest, I’ve never been more shocked in my entire life because this was very much a surprise,” she said.
“Even though it may not have happened exactly when we had hoped, we are incredibly grateful that we were able to have at least two children. Said, we’re both excited.”
