Knives Out 3
The Last Jedi, directed by Rian in 2017, was widely panned by fans online despite receiving excellent reviews. Currently, the filmmaker intends to continue the successful franchise with a new film. “I don’t believe it would mean the end of the world for anyone. But I’d feel depressed. I adore the world. I adore everyone here. I adore “Star Wars” followers. There is nothing like telling a tale in this world and then witnessing people genuinely relating to it and letting you know that. I adore the passion with which they participate in it.

It’s remarkable. So I’m hoping I get to do it again, but until the end of the world truly occurs, which, what day of the week is it, nothing is the end of the world.
In preparation for the Netflix release of Glass Onion, which reunites Daniel Craig and Benoit Blanc, detective, Rian is currently making the rounds in the media. In Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Benoit is asked to a private island to solve a murder mystery party that an eccentric millionaire (Edward Norton) has planned for a group of his old pals (Kate Hudson, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., and Dave Bautista, among others) to attend.
In an interview with Insider, the director discussed the ideas for the third instalment of the Knives Out series and added: “I want it to be in America. There are many alluring places to visit, such as Paris or the Alps, but I believe it’s crucial that these films are set in the United States. Even in Glass Onion, which is set abroad but has a group of Americans who are stranded on an island together, moving the action back to a location somewhat closer to home could be a nice idea.
Knives Out, a 2019 film for which Rian received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay, is followed by Glass Onion. Recently, Netflix invested almost $400 million to buy the upcoming two sequels.
