Steps To Deactivate Facebook Account
- Click on your account in the upper right corner of Facebook.
- Click Settings & Security after choosing Settings and Privacy.
- In the left column, click Your Facebook Details. If you have access to a page on Facebook and are using the new Pages experience: Click Privacy, then click Your Facebook Information.
- Click Deactivation and Delete to deactivate.
By choosing the option and then clicking Proceed to Account Deactivation, you can deactivate your account.

Steps To Delete Facebook Account
- Click on your account in the upper right corner of Facebook.
- After choosing Settings and Privacy, click Settings.
- In the left column, click Your Facebook Details. If you have access to a page on Facebook and are using the new Pages experience: Click Privacy, then click Your Facebook Information.
- Click Deactivation and Delete after that.
By selecting Delete Account and then clicking the Proceed button, you can proceed to the Account Deletion step.
To delete your account, enter your password and click the Delete Account option.
You cannot reactivate your account once it has been deleted. Anything you’ve added, including your profile, posts, videos, and images, will be permanently removed. Everything you add won’t be able to be retrieved.
