Kelly Ripa Biography
Kelly Ripa is an American actress, dancer, television producer and talk show host. She was born on October 2, 1970.
Kelly Ripa portrayed Hayley Vaughan on the popular syndicated morning talk show Live! From 1990 to 2002, Kelly and Ryan are most remembered for her role as co-host of the show. She is renowned for playing Faith Fairfield in the television show Hope & Faith. Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, also run the production firm Milojo, which is situated in New York.
Stratford, New Jersey, is the place of Ripa’s birth. She is the daughter of Joseph Ripa, a labour union leader and bus driver, and Esther Ripa, a housewife. Linda, her younger sister, is a writer of young adult novels. She has Irish and Italian origins. Since June 2009, her father has been serving as the Democratic County Clerk for Camden County, New Jersey.

She is the first person in her family to pursue a career in acting. She’s been taking dance classes since she was three years old, plays the piano, and, although saying she’s “no Barbra Streisand,” she can carry a tune.
In Voorhees Township, New Jersey, Ripa attended Eastern High School, where she joined the cheerleading squad and later received motivation from her theatre teacher to pursue acting.
During her senior year, she performed in A.A. Milne’s 1941 comedy play The Ugly Duckling, which led to her being recognised as a local theatre celebrity. She enrolled in Camden County College to study psychology but backed out to pursue an acting career in New York City.
During segments on Live with Kelly Ripa and Ryan, she participated in two attempts to break the Guinness World Record for Most Custard Pies Thrown in One Minute (1988). When NASCAR driver Matt Kenseth first broke the record with 17 pies hurled, she was on the receiving end. The next day, Kelly herself smashed that mark by throwing 22 pies in the direction of Wilmer Valderrama.
On October 12, 2015, she was presented with a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Television at 6834 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California. In the field of Performance Arts, she was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame in 2016.
