Chinese singer Jane Zhang Infected Herself with COVID-19 On Purpose, Know The Reason Here
Ms Zhang clarified that she intended to contract the virus to avoid contracting it during the concert, which takes place at the end of December.
Jane Zhang, a well-known singer and composer from China, has come under heavy criticism on social media after admitting that she purposefully exposed herself to the coronavirus. Her stunning admission comes at a time when the BF.7 Omicron coronavirus strain is causing a dramatic increase in coronavirus cases in China. On social media, the singer acknowledged that she had intentionally exposed herself to the coronavirus by visiting acquaintances who had tested positive. According to the South China Morning Post, she posted on Weibo that she had visited the homes of “sheep,” a mainland Chinese name for HIV carriers.

The cause? To get the infection, the artist intended to get sick before a concert on New Year’s Eve. Ms Zhang clarified that she intended to contract the virus to avoid contracting it during the concert, which takes place at the end of December. “I met a group of people who have tested positive since I currently have time to recuperate from the virus as I was concerned that my condition during the New Year’s Eve performance would be affected,” she stated.
The 38-year-old singer claimed that she started experiencing symptoms like fever, sore throat, and body aches after she went to bed. Her symptoms, according to Zhang, were comparable to those of a Covid patient but only persisted for one day. “All my ailments vanished after a day and a night of sleep” Before I felt better, all I did was drink a lot of water and take vitamin C, she continued.
Many have condemned her for being callous and careless ever since her message went viral, especially at a time when China is dealing with a Covid-19 rise. After receiving criticism for her conduct, the artist removed the contentious post from social media and issued an apology to the general public.
“Before posting my earlier posts, I didn’t carefully evaluate the situation. She posted an apology to the people on Weibo. “I was concerned that if I became ill during the concert, it would increase the likelihood that my coworkers would contract the illness once more. So I reasoned that since it was inevitable, why not become ill now when I didn’t have to leave the house so that I could return to work once I recovered? For all of us, it would be safer,” Zhang said.
