According to sources, the new song starts off with a tight verse from Lamar in which he raps about everything from AI to the Beyhive.
The choreography that Beyonce unveiled when her ‘Renaissance’ global tour began in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10, which sparked a TikTok trend, has contributed to the song’s recent surge in popularity.
After that, Beyonce picks up the song’s remaining four minutes and 20 seconds. On the remix’s cover, an American flag formed of what appear to be red, white, and blue bullets is displayed.
Prior to this, Beyoncé and Lamar worked together on the songs “Freedom” from 2016’s “Lemonade” and “Nile” from “The Lion King: The Gift.” “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers,” Lamar’s first album in five years, was released last year and won the Grammy for a best rap album.

The winning rap song and rap performance were both “The Heart Part 5”. With “Break My Soul” winning dance/electronic recording, “Plastic Off the Sofa” winning traditional R&B performance, and “Cuff It” winning R&B song, “Renaissance” also took home a lot of Grammy awards.
Beyoncé’s tour, which will be her first in over five years, will stop in both Europe and North America through the end of September. She has so far played a number of songs from “Renaissance” as well as favourites like “Formation,” “Run the World (Girls),” “Love on Top,” “Crazy in Love,” “Naughty Girl,” and “Drunk in Love.”
