Anthony Russo said, “Not everyone can actually do it,” in response to Priyanka Chopra’s comparison of performing her own stunts on Citadel to algebra.

On Citadel, an Amazon Prime Video original series, Priyanka Chopra collaborates with the Russo Brothers, who also directed Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame.

Priyanka Chopra, a global superstar, has been busy attending events all week in New York City. She was recently spotted with director Anthony Russo at the FC Festival. The actor discussed working with the Russo Brothers on the Amazon Prime Video series while working with them on their international adventure, Citadel.

Priyanka pulls off some impressive feats in the action-packed series, and the star claimed that she did most of her stunts. It’s like algebra, she remarked, comparing the art of performing stunts to math. If you practice, you can succeed. To this, Anthony jumped in and said, “I like your analogy, but, like math, not everyone can do it.”

Priyanka also discussed the aspect of the show’s originality that drew her in. She said, “I have been a tremendous admirer of the Russo Brothers and what honestly pulled me in was the social experiment of the show.”

Citadel is a global series produced with significant parts for PC and Richard Madden, but this version of the show will serve as a broader umbrella and give rise to numerous more spin-offs globally. Raj & DK, the creators of The Family Man, will helm Citadel in India. PC said about the global nature of the streaming platform, “It gives my heart so much joy because it allows for different languages outside of English to be able to tell their stories in entertainment, and we didn’t have that till streaming.”

As the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Priyanka recently addressed the UN General Assembly. She said, “We meet today at a critical point in our world, at a time when global solidarity is more important as countries continue to struggle with the damaging effects of the COVID-19, as the climate crisis affects lives, as conflicts rage; as poverty, displacement, hunger, and inequalities destroy the very foundation of a just world that we fought for, for such a long time.”

In 2021’s The Matrix Resurrections, Priyanka was last seen as Sati. She is anticipating Citadel’s release and the American romantic comedy It’s All Coming Back to Me. Alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, she will act in Jee Le Zaraa, a film directed by Farhan Akhtar.
