Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor announce pregnancy!

Alia Bhatt‘s enigmatic Instagram photo from this morning with the words “Our baby….. coming soon” has left the Internet both delighted and perplexed. The accompanying image shows what appears to be Alia lying on a hospital bed while her husband Ranbir Kapoor, seen from behind, examines the ultrasound scan results on the display. The outcome is hidden by a crimson heart, and the following image in the post features a lion, lioness, and cub.

Many comments on the post have congratulated Alia and Ranbir, while some have speculated that it may be advertising material for the couple’s next movie Brahmastra.

Family and friends of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have commented that this may be an announcement of pregnancy straight out. Soni Razdan, Alia’s mother, wrote, “Congratulations mama and papa lion. Riddhima, Ranbir’s sister, posted a string of hearts in the comments section. “Best wishes, honey! Yaaay! I’m eager, “Priyanka Chopra stated. Karan Johar, Alia’s guru, stated that his “heart is bursting.” Mouni Roy, a co-star in the film Brahmastra with Alia and Ranbir, wrote: “Om Nama Shivaay, incredibly delighted.”

Many people did not accept Alia Bhatt’s post at face value. One fan’s comment stated, “It’s a marketing scheme for Brahmastra.” Another reader asked, “Is this for a movie or something?”

After dating for a number of years, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married on April 14. After being chosen for the Ayan Mukerji-directed film Brahmastra, they started dating. They later went to Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception together in 2018.

Three-part fantasy Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna and is based on mythology. On September 9, the trilogy’s first movie will be released.
