Cooper Noriega, a TikTok Star, was discovered dead in a parking lot last week after a battle with addiction and mental illness, according to his family.
Noriega, 19, was pronounced dead in a parking lot last Thursday, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, who has yet to release the teen’s exact cause of death. Noriega had nearly 3 million TikTok followers and was well-known on the short-form video app.
“Who else b thinking they got die young af?” he questioned in a since-deleted video posted to his TikTok that day, according to several of his fans.
Parker Noriega, his sister, characterised her brother’s death on June 9 as a day that “turned her world upside down forever.”

My heart has been shattered…this isn’t true… I’ll never be the same again, “In an Instagram post, she stated. “You were adored by so many people and will be greatly missed. Thank you, God, for giving me the honour of being his big sister for the past 19 years. I’m sure you’re keeping an eye on me right now… I’m aware of it. I’ll always love you…”
Noriega “struggled with mental health and addiction, but he was so passionate about ensuring that no one ever felt alone,” she added.
On Discord, an instant messaging social media site, the TikTok star had a sizable following, where he tried to spread good messages about addiction through a channel named “Cooper’s Advice.”

“I’ve been struggling with addiction since I was 9 years old,” the teen wrote on the channel. “You may think that’s crazy, but that’s the life I’ve been dealt.” “I’d like to use the power I’ve been given to build a venue dedicated to raising awareness and normalising mental illness discussion.”
Noriega said, “finally build a rehab where people aren’t traumatised at the end of their treatment, and where the staff members are trusted people.”
“One of the many things I’ve learned while battling addiction is that being around negative individuals can only pull you down,” he stated. “As a result, this discord is aimed to bring us all together and create a safe area where people can vent and offer support to others going through difficult times.”
