After Robert Sarver announced he was selling the Suns, the Lakers said LeBron James was “proud” to be a part of the NBA.

Many people were quite upset when it was announced that Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver would be suspended by the NBA for a year and fined $10 million due to an inquiry into his behavior. LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers took the lead in speaking out once more.

LeBron instantly rushed to social media to express his opinion that Sarver should not be permitted to continue as the owner of the Suns and that the NBA made a mistake in its decision. Following revelations of racism, sexism, and misogyny involving Sarver, many other people would also similarly express themselves, and it appears that the general uproar was triumphant.

Sarver would start selling the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA and the Phoenix Suns, which was revealed on Wednesday. James praised the NBA for the action on social media once more.

The information that was revealed against Sarver during the investigation was quite disturbing. At least five instances of him using the N-word were reportedly made, and many crass and misogynistic occurrences were also mentioned. Those wanted the same for Sarver because the NBA acted quickly in response to the Donald Sterling racist controversy, and LeBron was one of many who pushed for it.

LeBron stated that such conduct has no place in the NBA and that the owners must be held responsible for their words and deeds. Sarver’s continued employment with the league would have been a disgrace for an organisation that has fought against such things. Draymond Green and current Suns point guard Chris Paul disagreed with the initial choice.

But as the league swings away from Robert Sarver, the procedure has started, and both the Suns and Mercury will soon have new ownership.

The Lakers are currently putting their roster together to prepare for the start of training camp.

Dennis Schroder was reunited with the team as part of their most recent addition, and they signed him to a one-year contract. Even though Schroder’s initial tenure with the Lakers didn’t go as expected, James was happy to see his former teammate again.
